XIII: The Human Brain: Flower of the Universe

E-mail Print PDF

The entire environment of the Universe, which is 15 billion years old, has produced its ultimate flower in the form of the Human Brain. It has done so, to know itself and maintain a balance in the entire Universe. Geologist George Greenstein says, “After going through all the available facts, we now come to know that, behind the creation of this Universe, some unknown power should be working”. It appears that inspite of not having proper intelligence, the scientific proof of the existence of God, has suddenly come into the hands of human beings. It also appears that for the well being of the humanity, only God, has created such a heavenly phenomenon as the Universe. Let us consider the following points in this matter;

  • The creation of this Universe has been done intelligently by the Eco-system.
  • The constants of the Universe are so well set, that only intelligent (biological) living creatures can develop and evolve.
  • Creation of the intelligent living creatures must be the only aim behind the creation of   the Universe.
  • We exist and that is why the Universe has some meaning.
  • If there had been nobody to observe and witness the Universe, there would not have been any meaning for the existence of the Universe.

The above statements are not attributed to any religious Gurus, but are of renowned scientists and known as “The Anthropic Principles”. The summary of this principle is, the efforts made by the Eco-system to create constants that can create and develop the human brain.

It has become possible for the scientists to ascertain the values of various constants of the Universe. While searching for the relation of these constants with the intelligence of human beings and their existence, they came to know that the universal constants known today; if had been any different; it would have been impossible for the creation of the human life. Based on these facts, “The Anthropic Principles” were founded. Now we shall look into the details of some of the constants responsible for the creation of this Universe and human beings. These forces of the Nature, should force us to realize that our life and existence are much beyond the thoughts and logic. The fact that such a balanced and complex universe exists, is the proof enough of a greater meaning of the human life. They show why the universe is perfect the way it is.

Gravitation

It depends on the force of gravitation as to what type of stars can take birth. If the force of gravitation or gravitational constant, had been a little more in comparison to what it is today, then the process of creation of the stars would have been faster and all the stars would have been one and a half times bigger than the Sun.

For the creation of heavy basic elements that are heavier than Iron, stars of bigger mass are required. After the explosion of such big stars, heavy basic elements spread in the sky. Such heavy basic elements are necessary not only for the creation of planets like the Earth, but also for the evolution of living (biological) creatures. But, the age of stars with bigger mass is very less, because of the simple reason that the environment conducive for the existence of living (biological) creation on the planets in the vicinity of such stars for a longer period of time, cannot persist. For the existence of biological living creatures for a longer time, stars with less mass are necessary. Opposed to this, if the force of gravitation had been less as compared to that of today, then, only small stars would have been created and their mass and age in comparison to the sun would have been more. For this reason, small stars would not have had the capacity to create heavy basic elements. Consequently, living (biological) creation would not have been possible.

Strong Nuclear Force

The force that binds protons and neutrons to the nucleus of the atom is known as Strong Nuclear Force. If the value of this force were a bit less than its present value, the proton or neutron would not have remained bound. If that were to happen, then the heavy basic elements would not have been created and the availability of hydrogen in the universe would have been scarce. The creation of stars takes place from colossal clouds of hydrogen only. If hydrogen would have been scarce in the Universe, the process of creation of the stars would have stopped, resulting in non-creation of heavy basic elements. The creation of living (biological) creatures then, would have been impossible.

Weak Nuclear Force

There is no electric charge on the neutron in an atom, but it is unstable. Approximately every 12 minutes it depletes itself and creates 3 new particles, namely; protons, electrons and neutrino. The force that renders this process is known as the Weak Nuclear Force. If the value of this force had been a bit more than what it is today, then the time taken for depletion of the neutron would have been less. As a result, the creation of Helium during the initial period of the creation of the Universe, would not have taken place and due to the lesser availability of helium, heavy basic elements would not have been available in sufficient quantity.

Opposed to this, if the value of the Weak Nuclear Force had been less than what it is today, then the entire hydrogen would have converted into helium and this would have led to the unlimited production of heavy basic elements. But like heavy basic elements, light basic elements are also necessary for the creation and the development of living (biological) creatures; these light basic elements would have not been created, if the force was weaker.

Electro – Magnetic Force

Electrons revolve around the nucleus of an atom. This happens, because of electro-magnetic force. It is because of this force, that molecules are created. Molecules are made up of many atoms. For the development of (biological) living creatures, molecules are extremely necessary. If this electro-magnetic force were a little less than what it is today, it would have been difficult for the electrons to revolve around the nucleus of an atom. If the electro magnetic force were a bit more, then the formation of molecules would have been impossible.

Total quantity of Mass of Electrons and Protons

The mass of proton is 1836 times more than that of the electron. The orbit of electron depends on this quantity. If this quantity is less or more, then creation of molecules is impossible. Therefore creation of (biological) living creation would also have been impossible.

Age of the Universe

The type of stars that are existent in the Universe is related to the age of the Universe. After the birth of the Universe, the first generation of stars was created nearly after 3 billion years. The transformation of these stars into new stars and their explosions took nearly 10-12 billion years more. From the explosion of new stars, heavy basic elements were spread into the empty space. At the time of the creation of the stars like the sun, these basic elements mixed with the clouds in the sky. Since the sun was created, creation of other planets like the Earth became possible. A passage of 4 - 5 billion years followed, to create and sustain the atmosphere on the earth. It is only after this period, that the environment of the Earth became conducive for the creation of living (biological) creatures.

It means that had the age of the Universe, been 2 to 3 billion years less, then the environment suitable for the creation of living (biological) creatures, would have been impossible. Opposed to this, if the age of the Universe had been 10 – 12 billion years more, then the age of stars like the sun, would have been less. This would have resulted in a shorter life span of the solar system and thereby all living creatures. This would have, in turn caused rapid development of living creatures but intelligent creatures like human beings would not have come into existence.

Expansion speed of the Universe

The Universe is constantly expanding after the Big Bang. It depends upon the expanding speed of the Universe as to the type of stars being created. If the expansion speed were a little less than what it is today, the Universe would have started contracting even before stars like the sun had been created.

Opposed to this, if the speed of expansion had been more, the creation of galaxies and stars would have become impossible. Then living (biological) creatures would not have come into existence as well. Today, the speed of our galaxy is so well set, that stars like the sun have come into being and so have we.

Mass of the Universe

While considering the mass of the Universe, its mass and energy, both, have to be taken into consideration. It depends upon the total mass as to how much energy has been dissipated after the Big Bang. If the mass had been more, as compared to today, the heavy hydrogen particles such as Deuterium would have been created in more quantity than required. If that were to happen, atomic fuel in the stars of the future would have exhausted early, resulting in the lessening of the life of the stars. Opposed to this, if the mass of the Universe had been lesser, in comparison to what it is today, the basic elements like helium would not have been created inspite of the receding temperatures. Due to the unavailability of helium in the stars, the heavy basic elements would have not been created. Then the sun and earth would have not been created.

Uniformity of the Universe

The Universe is uniform from all directions. If the universe is observed from any galaxy of the Universe, it will appear to be the same. This characteristic of the Universe is termed as “Homogeneity”. If the Universe had not been so uniform, then there would have been only black holes in the Universe. If the degrees of Homogeneity had been different, then the galaxies, stars, suns, earth, etc. would have not been created.

Stability of Proton

The proton is as important as any other element in our body. The proton is so stable that it takes 10³² years for its depletion. Imagine if the depletion of the proton was any faster, gaping holes would have appeared on our body. Not to say that the life span of the humans would have been very short. Opposed to this, if the stability of the proton was more, then the mass of all the objects in the Universe would have been less and stars like the sun would have not been created. Therefore creation of living (biological) creatures, would have not taken place as well.

Distance between the stars.

The distance between the stars in our part of the galaxy is approximately 4-5 light years from each other. If this distance had been less, the orbit of the planets would have kept changing. As a result, the temperature of the planets would fluctuate, making it difficult to sustain life. Opposed to this, if the average distance between the stars had been more, the quantity of heavy metals created out of the explosion of new stars would have been very less. Therefore, planets like the Earth would have not been created. In other words, it is because of the average distance of the stars that our solar system is surviving.

Change in luminosity of stars

The rate of development in luminosity of the stars has had a great effect on the planets surrounding them. After the birth of the stars like the sun, their luminosity increased at a very slow and constant pace. This resulted in a gradual creation of living (biological) creatures on the planets. The development of living creatures, thus, depends on the speed of luminosity. The speed of luminosity has to be perfect and measured. If it is more, the development of progressive living creatures from non- – progressive living creatures will be obstructed by the “green house effect”. The temperature of such planets will increase beyond proportion and the development of living creatures will stop. Opposed to this, if the speed of luminosity decreases then the temperature of the planets will also reduce drastically, freezing most oceans and seas. In other words, if the luminosity of our sun increases or decreases in comparison to what exists today, we will certainly perish.

Energy level of Beryllium, Carbon & Oxygen

After the creation of Helium in the stars, creation of other heavy basic elements, such as Beryllium, Carbon and Oxygen takes place. The energy levels of the forming agents are so well set, that this creation becomes possible. Beryllium is an unstable basic element. It depletes within 10 to 18 seconds. Due to this, the process of binding of the nucleus of its atom becomes slow. If Beryllium was more stable, the creation of heavy basic element would have increased and stars would have exploded untimely. This would have resulted in the extinction of heavy basic elements that are very necessary for the creation of life. Opposed to this, if Beryllium had been unstable than what it is today, the creation of the basic elements like carbon, oxygen in the interiors of the stars would have become impossible. The energy level of carbon is more compared to that of helium and beryllium. Apart from this, the energy level of oxygen is so well set that transformation of all carbon into oxygen does not take place and the heavy basic elements after oxygen also keep getting created.

These examples are not presented as arguments. They help us observe that the universe is created with perfect balance and co-existence of various elements. It is a perfect system, yet fragile due to its tactical balancing of forces. This balance can be compared to that of the assembling of an aeroplane by a sudden gust of wind from all the millions of spare parts. In other words, slight imbalance in any of the natural forces will cause this universe to collapse and disappear. This complicated, yet absolute creation forces everyone, even the greatest of the scientists, to recognise our limitation in assessing its true purpose and potential. It cannot be a coincidence and it cannot grow out of its own accord. The thinking mind is incapable of even thinking about who and what is behind it. Again, it is nothing that we, as separate entities, can go and conquer. We are essentially a part of the system and the knowledge that exists in the Universe exists within us. Now and again, from ordinary to great people of our world, most have acknowledged the presence of a divine power in our creation and existence. If it is indeed true, it can only be through a pure, sensitive and divine brain. If this self-propelled invisible brain is God, it must be known through a sensitive, thoughtless awareness. If any signs exist at all, they will be in the form of thoughtless, sensitive sparks. The truth of life, therefore, cannot be known through logic. “Knowing” is an impossible activity for the mind. It can only “store” information. Knowing oneself will be a divine activity. Through thoughtless knowledge of the brain, we can truly make ourselves (not me or “I”) eternally happy.

Basic Mind

Artificial Intelligence

Continuous alternate states of happiness and sadness.

More happiness (assumed) and less sadness.

No effect of happiness and sadness awareness.

Genome chip induced mind.

The origin of Mind -Ego due to word -bound thoughts. The breaking of the synapse due to decrease of sensitivity and load on the neurons. Changes in the DNA for successive generations and development of mental and physical illness.

Creation of emotions due to condensation of thoughts or subconscious mind.

Due to these emotions (mantra, sadhna, upasna) the neurons begin to overload

resulting in the development of psychic powers, telepathy, Gods, Heaven, Miracles, etc.

The subconscious mind is continuously trapped.

The basic mind being in awareness, observes both, the conscious and subconscious minds in totality. The vocal cord, tongue, hand, brain loose their habits and emerge with the synapses in the brain. The sensitivity of the body increases, thoughts decrease and body attains happiness.

To survive the change in the planetary system the brain will change internal & external appearance of the body. The possible end result being that with the end of the planetary system and the preparation of human beings to undertake celestial journeys.

Psychic information of one life only. Continuous repetition causes the brain to be overloaded, the thought create heavens and gods.

Solidification of the ego.

Memories of many past lives. When miracles occur; inner voice is heard; we call it ‘divine mind’.

Nevertheless, this too is the ego.

Genetic sensitivity over thousands of lives helps the body to sustain itself & increase the age of the body. With the brain in reality, there is no feeling and hence no ego. On the contrary the brain watches the ego.

IT technology, genetics, nano technology, super science (based on natural evolution) induces happiness in awareness for mankind (brainkind).

Artificial intelligence becomes the nature of the brain.

Who am I to torment the natural brain for the happiness and sorrow of the unnatural “I”?
